According to notes of Carrol Kennedy webpage,Paulus married twice,
(1) Geertie Willemse(2) Jannetje Janse.Paulus was on ass. rolls of
Brooklyn of 1675, 76 and 83.He was a member of the Dutch Reform Church in
1677, residing in Bedford and Jamaica.He took the oath of allegiance in
Brooklyn in 1687.
Paulus Dircksen (Hoff) and Gertje Willemse
Paulus Dircksen was born 1620 in Holland. At no time did he use the name “Hoff”.
30 June 1650 Embarked from Amsterdam on the New Netherlands Fortune.
19 December 1650 Arrived in New Amsterdam, settling under the aegis of Baron van der Capelle, who owned Staten Island.
date After the Indian Massacre, he fled to Port Orange (Albany).
1657/58 Gave a deposition in Port Orange regarding the massacre.
by Christmas 1662 Moved from Port Orange to Brooklyn, where he joined the Dutch Church.
1687 Took the Oath of Allegiance in New York, stating he had been in the colonies 36 years.
Paulus married first Gertje Willemse, a probable sister of Johannes Willemsen, who married Lammetje Polhemus, sister of Adriana Polhemus (wife of Jan Roelofsen Seubering).
Paulus and Gertje were the parents of two children:
Derrick Pauluszen, born circa 1649 in Holland, died 22 December 1722 in Lawrenceville, Mercer County, New Jersey; married (1) Aeghie Teunis Covert, (2) Sarah Willemse Yeats

Paulus’ second wife was Jannetje Jans. They were the parents of at least one child:
Gertruuy Paulusze, baptized 2 September 1654; married Gabriel Sprong
Paulus died 24 May 1692 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.
