Notes for Elizabeth Young:
NOTE: Sarah Metcalf and the text in "This 'N That, History of Hall County, Georgia' indicates that this child died soon after birth. However, there is an "E. Young", female, age 8, enumerated with Robert and Elizabeth Carmon Young in the 1850 Hall County, Georgia census. This child, however, was not mentioned in Robert's will dated 24 May 1851. The problem with the Elizabeth in the 1850 census is that she is noted as being born in Alabama so she may, indeed, be another of Robert's deceased sons children.
Another clue is in the 1860 census of Hall County. In that census there is an E. Young, age 18, born in Alabama, who is living with the family of J. W. Simmons. Simmons' wife is named Elizabeth, age 20, born in Alabama.
