Catherine's death certificate lists her death location as Norristown State Hospital.
Her address prior to her death was Audubon. I can only assume that she must have lived with her daughter Anna and son-in-law Arthur Loughin.

Notes for John S. Weidner:
John S. Weidner was a farmer in Amity.
It was said that he was gassed in the 1st World War and became epileptic. He
died from self inflicted wound at the grist mill owned by his father. I am not sure if it was by gun shot or by a hanging.
Notes for Mary Catherine Bower: Mary is buried in Laurelville Cemetery, near Muhlenburg Park in Reading, PA In 1920, Mary lived with her daughters Fyetta and Amanda in Reading on 637 Clinton Street. In 1920, John Weidner lived with his parents in Amity Township. He worked in the Grist Mill. Mary and Amanda both worked in the pants factory as operators. Mary married Glenn Hartline sometime between 1920 and 1930. They lived at an Inn where Mary worked as a general housekeeper. Paul and Margaret Roedel were the owners of the Inn in Douglasville Village. |

Notes for Joseph Griffith Young:
Joseph was a member of the Company K of the 4th Pennsylvania Reserves known as the Exton Guards. He was recruited by William Babe of Lionville and later to by Enos Christman of W. Vincent and Nathan Pennypacker of Charlestown Twp. About 113 Chester County Soldiers made up the regiment and most of them were from Charlestown, W. Whiteland, and W. Pikeland. The regiment mustered out in June 1864. It fought at Beaver Dam Creek, Gaines Mill, Glendale, Malvern Hill, Second Bull Run, South Mountain, Anticom, Fredericksburg and Cloyd's Mountain. A more detailed history is recorded in Bates' History of Pennsylvania Volunteers.
