|Welcome friends and family!|
This is a work in progress and I update about once a month.
If you would like to add information or pictures, PLEASE email me at the address below. Or at the mail address.
Couple of things to know:
Women with a (parenthesis) on their last name means I have not found their maiden name. All other names with (parenthesis) with a surname may mean there is an alternate spelling.
Names with “Nc.” Means Non confirmed. I try to capture a finding, but I will not make it confirmed until I can find it on an official document or unless it is given to me from the direct source.
Living people-There is an option to show or not show data on living people. The data captured here is not ‘personal’ enough to warrant that. However, if you wish for your data not to be published here, please let me know and I will remove it.
How I got started:
It all started when I found out my Great Grand parents didn't have gravestones. Cousin W.T. Clinard had passed away and I found out he was to be buried next to my great grand parents William and Lizzie Jackson. When I got to the grave site.... there were no stones. I asked Cousin Margie (W.T.'s sister) Where are they. She said 'Honey you are standing on them.'
Come to find out there were not 2 but 5 graves with no stone. Frank Jackson, Sallie Jackson-Binkley, Ollie Binkley, Lizzie and William Jackson.
I decided right there I would get them stones before they were lost forever. And my hardest task... Dates...
The journey for 5 birthdates and 5 death dates through me into a world of searching.
So for those about to read on... beware.. for you will become addicted to the search and the mystery of the past.
