one name known, Rebecca (BUTLER) WALKER, d. Simpson Co. MS, bef 1850 census.

Seeking descendants of Noble S. BUTLER, b. 1773, Chester Co. PA, m. c1794,
Ga, prob Warren/Richmond/Hancock couty, listed as heir of Capt. James
BISHOP, in estate settlement c1800, Hancock Co., GA.Suspect his wife was
named Ruth/Rutha BISHOP as there were at least two granddaughters named
Ruth/Rutha.One named Ruth Demarius BUTLER; one named Rutha Bishop BUTLER.
When the Quakers of Wrightsboro, GA, escaped the slavery issue back north
to Richmond, Ind., only two or three of Noble BUTLER, b. 1739, PA, d. 1799,
Warren Co. GA and wf Susannah BEALE's children remained in the South.In
1809, my Noble S. BUTLER and wife ?Rutha BISHOP were in St. Tammany Parish,
LA, with 640 ac on the Bogue Chitto River with neighbors from Warren Co.
GA.There he served in the 12th/13th Consolidated LA Reg't in War of 1812,
though his name is NOT on the veterans' monument in Franklinton, LA.
(Would love to have his name added to that very large monument.)
In 1840, Noble S. BUTLER, b. 1773, is in Simpson Co. Miss. with wf, and
children, including sons John, believe to have died in Simpson Co., Miss,
Joshua, bur in NW Simpson Co., Miss., and Noble Sumpter BUTLER
(1815--1863), d. in CSA Hosp, Dalton, GA, and daug Rebecca (BUTLER) WALKER,
who died in Simpson Co. Miss. before the 1850 census, when her husband
David WALKER has a second wife and children from both marriages.
