Although Noble and Susannah were raised in the Quaker church, they married elsewhere without their parents' consent and were disowned by the church.Noble and his family moved from PA to GA during the American Revolution in 1777.Tradition says that he was a wealthy man but was troubled by the Tories and robbed and his possessions confiscated.Noble died in GA and later Susannah moved to Wayne Co. IN with 7 of their children.
