NC and by 1820 had gone as far as Sandy Creek near the Chatham Co. line.

He may have been in Germantown, OH in 1805.According to Young's History of Wayne Co. IN early settlement was made in 1806 by Jesse Davenport and Jacob Fouts, etc. (p. 32).They settled 4 or 5 miles south east of Richmond.
