Obituary, New Castle Courier-Times, Wed. July 28, 1937.John G. Morgan, Pneumonia developed following breaking of hip:New Lisbon, IN, July 28,John G. Morgan, prominent farmer living 4 miles south of New Castle for many years, died at 10 p.m. at the Henry Co. Hospital.He was taken to the hospital Sat. following a fall in which he broke his hip.Pneumonia developed Sunday which caused his death.
Survivors are 3 daughters, Marie, at home; Mrs. Ruth White of Richsquare, and Mrs. J.A. Harcourt of Hagerstown, a son, James, of New Lisbon, 8 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Reed of Muncie, and a brother, George Morgan of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at the Richsquare Church at 10:30 Friday morning, with burial in the Richsquare cemetery.
His death certificate says his father was Jeremiah Morgan; mother not listed.
