John Jordan (c1650? - 1687)He first appears as a witness in Isle of Wight to an undated record recorded in 1673.[104]As noted above, his father gave him 100 acres in 1679.On 7 March 1682, his wife Jane gave a power of attorney to claim her rights in that gift.[105]Beyond these few citations, he does not seem to appear in Isle of Wight records until his death sometime before 10 October 1687, when his wife Jane was granted administration of the estate.[106]
