Notes for Robert Campbell:
Death 1750 Apr 20 in Tuckahoe, Cumberland County, lived less than 1.5 years longer than his father.Inventory of his possessions was this date by John Champion and Lawrence Peterson, the same two men who inventoried his father's possessions.Mary Bell, widow, and Laurence PETERSON both of Maurice River, Cumberland County posted an administration bond and Mary Bell became the administratrix. But who is the widow Mary BELL?Was she the widow of Peter Campbell or was she the wife, now widow, of Robert Campbell? For what it is worth, I note that both Peter and Robert Campbell signed with a mark, while Mary could write her name. Thus, this is not Mary Campbell, who was the administratrix for possessions ofWilliam Campbell.
