Cadiz is located on I-24 in western Kentucky about 40-minutes south of Princeton, and approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive north-west of Nashville, Tennessee. Lake Barkley State Resort Park is centrally located for family members traveling from the east coast, Texas, Illinois, and other parts of the country.The park is in a secluded and heavily wooded area of western Kentucky where you can enjoy yourself and get away from all the stresses of everyday life.We will have a "best ball" golf tournment at the Boots Randolph Golf Course, a fishing tournment, horseback rides, all types of rental boats, hiking and nature trails, outdoor pool and beach for swimming, swimming areas, a trap range, a fitness center with indoor pool, a game room, gift shop, coffee shop, and sit-down dinners each night in one of the conference rooms. Sarah Selina Nichols in Princeton, Caldwell County, Kentucky about 1850-1855. Sarah was Thomas S. Kevil's second wife, and she is buried in the old Kevil family cemetery south of Princeton. She was born August 18, 1803 in Hopkins County, Kentucky and died April 12, 1872 in Caldwell County, Kentucky.
