Notes for Cody Hugo Reichenau:Well, let's start at the beginning. I was born on April 25, 1978
at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, Texas. Mymother was a
schoolteacher (and still is) and my father workedfor GTE
(and still does). I went to school in the smalltown of
Christoval, which is about 20 miles south of SanAngelo.
I did all kinds of fun stuff in high school. Iplayed football, was
on the debate team, and was in several clubs andcouncils. I
made a lot of good friends that I still havetoday, and, most
importantly, I met the love of my life, Allyson.
I graduated from Christoval High School in 1996,and started
college at Angelo State University in San Angelothe next fall. I
studied Computer Science, and during my free timestarted
tape trading and playing the banjo. I madeseveral road trips
to Colorado to see Blues Traveler, the greatestband ever to
walk the face of the earth. I also spent a lot oftime driving to
College Station to see Allyson, and driving toAustin to see
some other cool band.
I proposed to Allyson on Valentines weekend 2000,and she
actually said yes! But the big changes didn'tstop there. In May
I graduated from Angelo State with a BBA inComputer
Science. After a short, but stressful, job hunt,I accepted a
position with the Texas Education Agency inAustin. So far, so
good!
I work for the Texas Education Agency indowntown Austin.
My official title is Programmer, although Ithink I'm more of a
Web Developer. So far I have been working on webbased
applications written in VBScript using ASP. Ithink I learned
more about programming in my first two weekshere then I
learned in all four years of college.
Things are great for me right now. Although I'mstill adjusting
to life in Austin, every day I find something newto like about
this city. Living by myself is new and exciting,and my new job
is challenging, rewarding, and a lot of fun.There are times
when I miss San Angelo, and my mom and sister(and my dog,
Dallas), but I'm really enjoying it down here.
It's weird to think about the future rightnow. I mean, if you
had asked me about my future plans a fewmonths ago I
would have said something like: graduate fromcollege, get a
job, and move to Austin. Well, here I am, havingdone all of
those things!
Well, Allyson and I are getting married inOctober, so I guess
learning how to be a good husband will need to behigh on my
future goals. I also hope to learn more aboutAustin (and find a
good Mexican food place here!). I want tocontinue to
develop my programming skills, and beatDiablo II.
My long term goals include the usuals...promotions, owning a
home, and having kids. Oh, and I want to learnhow to play
Clawhammer style Banjo!

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Janek of San Angeload Mr. and Mrs. Alan Dwelley of Calais, Maine. The bridegroom is theson of Mr. and Mrs. Don Reichenau of Fredericksburg and mrs. CarolynReichenau of San Angelo.
Maid of honor was Kellie Ann Goble of Ozona. Bridesmaids were SaraWages of Plano and Carly Reichenau. Flower girl was Lindsey Lambert ofAustin.
Best man was Lee Crawford of Newalla, Okla. Groomsmen were Greg Hughesof Austin and Anthony Del Monaco of Calais. Ring bearer was SulliavanJost of Paint Rock.
Ushers were Brian Stewart of Lubbock and Eric Cornehl ofFredericksburg.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Christoval High School and received abachelor's degree in biomedical science in August 2000 from Texas A&MUniversity.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Christoval High School andreceived a bachelor's degee in computer science in May 2000 fromAngelo State University. He is employed by the Texas Education Agencyin Austin.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, The couple will live in Austin.
