Not listed here: Positive documentation to ancestors born in 1492 in Poitou, France. Pictures of the Font where my 16th Great grandfather was baptised and dicovered three semi-famous/infamous ancestors; a Saint, a professional Boxer, an individual accused of murder. From France the ancestors fled hostilities on or about the early 1500's, Settled in Tois-Rivieres, Canada for3 centuries and were relocated (deported) by the Queen for not joining the British forces in the 1770's. It seems that half ended up in Louisana, the other half in Boston. Many of the displaced died the first winter in New England because locals assosciated the refugees with the British forces and refused to assist the Canadian refugees in any way. For all that follow in my footsteps: I hereby declare that there was never a person named "Jean-Claude Landry" an Indian, who married Marie Bernard. This was supposition, NOT FACT. This is the greatest mistake all Landry genealogists make. Do not follow in the wrong footsteps on this one! Complete family tree is displayed at: http://www.jerrylandry.com/
