It really takes a good, detailed map to show Niedermehnen. Even my favorite
Falk Atlas doesn't show it, but my l :SO,000 maps of the Tecklenburger Land do
show it.
Niedermehnen is a tiny farming community just north of Levern, and belongs to
the parish of Levern. Levern lies about halfway between Bohmte and Esplekamp,
two cities which should show on a good map of Germany. Bohmte and EspeLkamp
are east and a little bit north of Osnabruck about halfway between Osnabruck
and Petershagen (or Minden). Levern and Niedermehnen are also not too far
southeast of Lemforde and the Dummer See, a large lake which usually shows on
maps of Germany.
