Henry S. Lipford (b. 1753, d. January 12, 1841)

Henry served in the Revolutionary War 1777-1779. He was in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown, Monmouth Court House and Stoney Point. Henry re-enlisted after his 3 year stint, and served another 3 months in 1780, fighting in the battle of Camden. In 1830 Henry was granted 100 acres of land for his service. He sold that land in 1833. He also received a pension of $80 a year, beginning in 1834 when he was 80 years old. Ar age 91 he was living with his son-in-law George W. Pace in Powhatan County, Virginia.
