Joseph McCreery Clan started in NY, in Ulster County. His sons, John, Robert, and Alexander fought in New York during the Revolutionary War and later settled in Montgomery Twp., Orange County, NY. Robert died there, but John and Alexander migrated northwest to the Finger Lakes area, near Hector and Burdette, NY.My ancestor is Alexander who married Eunice Armstrong at Goshen, NY.
