My Maxwell tree begins (probably) with:1. Robert Maxwell of Chester Co., Pa.He died about 1792.He
married Elizabeth.Their children were Thomas, John,
Robert, Eleanor, Esther and James.
2. Thomas Maxwell (d.1796-1798) m. Jane Lewis (1769-1836).
Their children were Abner, Levi, Lewis, Robert, Mary and
Amy.Robert, Levi and Amy all moved to Marion Co., Ohio.
3. Abner Maxwell (1785-1864) m.1809 Sussana Davison(1788-1826).
Their children were Marshall, Franklin, Mary, Levi and
Williams.Abner later m.1828 Judith Modisette.Their
children were Francis, Charles, Lewis, Amy, Abner, James and
Robert.
4. Marshall Maxwell (1811-1887) m.1838 a)Margaret Johnston
(1819-1861), b) m.1862 Amanda Dilenbaugh (1830-1867), c)
m.1870 Margaret Minor Sloan.Marshall lived and died in
Marion Co., Co.
5. Sherman Marshall Maxwell, Marshall & Amanda's only child,
(1866-1933) m.1886 Etta Fulinda Shaw (1865-1940).Their
only child was Nathan Minor Maxwell (1887-1956).Nathan
married Cecil Carmen Debolt (1891-1976).
