August 14, 1895.Baptizing today at Red River by Bro. Stapp.Charlie, Pink, Etta Wooldridge, Alice Smith, Rena, Ida Self, preaching today and tonight with a great victory.
August 12, 1896.Dan (Curb) was married today to Miss Etta Wooldridge.All of us went to see them married.Bro. Forkner performed the ceremony.After partaking of a grand supper, we had music on the organ and singing.All went off nicely.
August 13, 1896.Dan (Curb) and Etta (nee Wooldridge) and the Wooldridges (John Harrison Wooldridge and wife Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson) and many others came to our house for dinner.Had a good time.
August 21, 1896.Monroe gone to St. Joe, MO. To the reunion of the old soldiers. Pink and Dan (Curb) swapped horses.
August 25, 1896.Etta and Pink and I went to Wooldridges (John Harrison Wooldridge and Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson) and spent the day and quilted.
December 25, 1896.Christmas Day!Dan and Etta came here for dinner.
December 26, 1896.Dan (Curb) came and helped take out the new room floor and helped Mat and Gramma move to the new place.
December 27, 1896.Dan (Curb), Isom, Bro. Abercrombie, Wilhelm and Tom Chitwood are here.We all sang a while.Had vinegar pie.
March 6, 1897.Monroe went on to Oil Springs.Charlie and I stayed at Dan’s (Curb).They buried Mrs. Hughes while we were gone.
May 23, 1897.Etta (Mary Etta Wooldridge-Curb) is sick.Mrs. Wooldridge (Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson-Wooldridge) sent for me.Dan (Curb) and I rode under gallop 4 miles in 30 minutes.An 8 ½ pound boy was born to Dan and Etta at 5 P.M.
June 3, 1897.Dan’s birthday, 25 years old.
December 25, 1897.Christmas Day, 1897.Thanks to God our Father who has kept us all alive and permitted us to come together again.Etta and Dan gone to her ma’s (John Harrison Wooldridge and Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson).Rena (age 14) went with them.
January 21, 1899.Monroe and Oscar grinding axes.Hall Woolridge (William Hall Wooldridge, brother of Mary Etta) stayed all night.
July 25, 1899.Dan (Curb) and (his and Etta's son) Delos came and Jim Shapp.They stayed all day and night.
April 13, 1900.Still in Ardmore.Monroe and I did some trading.Saw Dan (Curb) and Etta and went home with them and stayed the night.They are fixed up well.
June 3, 1900.Dan is 28 years old today.
October 31st, 1900.Mr. Catledge eat dinner here.Gave us some data about Greer County.
November 18, 1900.John Wooldridge (brother of Mary Etta) came and stayed last night.So did Roxie.
December 9, 1900.Mr. Clary and Rena married this morning at 10 a.m.Bro. Webster performed the ceremony.All went to church and left Etta and Ula and myself.A large crowd came from the church for dinner.Had a nice time throughout the day.All of our children and grandchildren and son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws were with us.Maybe for the last time as we are aiming to move to Greer County and leave some of our dear children behind.But we will pray God’s rich blessings on them.
December 14, 1900.Mrs. Woodridge and Etta and Hawley (Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson-Wooldridge, daughter Mary Etta Wooldridge-Curb, and son William Hall Wooldridge) came and stayed all night.Oh, we did enjoy ourselves so much.Little Delos (Curb) came too.He is so sweet.
December 30, 1900.Bro. Abercrombie’s folks came about 11:30.Dan (Curb) and Ed and Willie and Mr. Clary came in about 3:00 p.m.All filed on places except Willie.All were pleased with the country.Mr. Snell and wife came over this eve.
January 1st. 1901.Dan (Curb) and Ed and Willie and Pink and Charlie and Mr. Clary and Rena gone up near Dryden, O.T. with Mr. Willis to take a load for them.Dan and Ed and Mr. Clary filed on a place apiece.
May 16, 1901.Rena and Mr. Clary had to move out of the dugout.Water ran in on them.Monroe went to Nacajoe.Got letters from Dan (Curb) and Mother.
July 31, 1901.Arrived at Dan’s about 10:00 a.m.Found all well and a new baby and Etta (Mary Etta Wooldridge-Curb) up and around.Named the baby Velma.
December 31, 1901.Got a letter from Dan (Curb) with a $17.00 check in it/We sent a $1 order to Ardmore for the Indian Territory Baptist for the New Year 1902.
January 8, 1902.Isom and Foster finished up their wagons.Willie got here from Dryden.Etta and I cooked tea cakes and a pound cake for dinner.Ed got in from Mangum after supper.Mr. Will Snell and family came over after supper.We had a good singing.Isom led the class.All the children and son-in-laws here.Two are absent, viz., Charlie andDaniel living in Chickasaw.
May 3, 1902.Daniel’s birthday, 30 years old.
August 13, 1902.Isom taken us all in the wagon to Ed’s.We stayed all day and all night.We aim to start back home in the morning.Got to Bro. Wilhelm’s at night.Found Monroe and the children and Dan there ready to go to Ed’s.Dan (Curb) came in to the house on Wednesday.Will be here a while visiting around.We stayed all night at Bro. Wilhelm’s.
August 20, 1902.Dan (Curb) and Luther started home.Will have school meeting this evening at Headrick.Monroe and I went to Headrick and voted to bond the district for school.The women turned out and voted very well. Mr. Clary got in from Dryden on horseback.Left his wagon.Aims to go back with the boys.
January 1, 1903Monroe is at Ed’s and Will’s in the sand hills.All of our lives have been spared another year and one more called to the ministry, viz, Dan (Curb).Hope and pray he may prove to be a steadfast and true as old prophet Daniel and also pray that as this year closes that the balance of the children will come back to the fold and be useful in the vineyard of the Lord.

April 23, 1907.All up but Aunt Mat, took a pain in her heart and is suffering greatly, is taking med to relieve, this is a "beautiful day" after such a long bad glom[part of page missing] wind from the north for several days we are expecting Dan & Charlie my two sons from---rdmore {Ardmore] today. Will be at Mangum at 1 P.M. Pink has gone to meet them will take them to his house to Supper.

April 26, 1907.All up Charlie staid with us last night we are enjoying his company so much- I made him some “broom-weed syrup” for his cough. he went as far as Fosters with Geneva as she went to school- ate dinner there and Dan came there and they went & back among the boys and Foster and Rena went to Tea Cross and left the Eva & Jasper here. Monroe commence to plant his corn over to-day decided to plant in this field at the house Dan is aim---- to preach at Fair View to-night

April 28, 1907.All up All went to S.S. Mr Crawford was to preach but didn’t---& Dan (Curb) preached. Text "He that wineth Souls----Isiah"All went to church in the morning Crawford didn’t come & Dan preached. from the text in Isiah He that winneth Souls is wise Charlie preached here in our Home at 3 :30 P.M. I my Fathers House are many Mansions etc. So had a glorious pray meeting several gave their hands for prayer Charlie will preach tonight Lovie Metcalf Claimed to be reclaimed here at the prayer meeting. Sunday eve had a glorious prayer meeting. Lovie Metcalf Claimed to be blessed. house crowded. Charlie preached too. April 29, 1907.Charlie preached on "Lazarus and the rich man" a grand sermon indeed. Dan (Curb) left us and kissed us all good-bye- and Started for Cousin Merideth Port-wood.Monroe planted Corn, and hauled water All aiming to go to Mangum tom---- Charlie taken subscribtion for mon-- to build a Baptist Church got $320 subscribed in one evening
May 17, 1907.I mailed Ma & Pind a Group of the boys pictures ( a studio portrait of Dan (Curb), Charlie, Will, Pink & Edd Oscar absent)

In 1919, Etta's mother-in-law, Dan's beloved mother had a paralytic stroke, and after lingering for several months, she died at her home in Sand Hills. Dan Curb and his brother Charlie both attended and spoke at her funeral.
In the 1910 census, Etta's younger sisters, Gladys and Shufford, were listed living with the Curb family.In the 1920 census, Etta's mother, Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Wilkerson-Wooldridge, was listed living with Etta and Dan Curb, and their four children, in Woodward Co. Oklahoma.
