Notes for John Wilson WALKER:
John worked for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita as a Tool Planner.His two
cost cutting ideas rated a salute from the Air Force.He invented things
on and off the job.Some of his inventions were a "Tilt-Around" (tot
propelled merry-go-round), a minature Ferris Wheel (propelled by the small
fry), a Picnic Table that converted into a bench, an igloo, and a safe
teeter-totter.All these items are found in school grounds and parks. He
owned two patents with a third filed at Cessna in addition to the
playground equipment.John died unexpectedly while at work at the Cessna
Aircraft Corporation in Wichita.
