|Robert MILLER [abt.1690-1765] and his wife Mary ALEXANDER [b.1698 Somerset MD] apparently went thru Cecil Co. MD and down the Great Wagon Trail in 1752/3 to Anson NC and settled on what is now known as Spartanburg Co. SC alongside the 3 Tyger rivers. Robert died 1765 in [then] Mecklenburg, NC leaving a will proving identity of his children and their spouses and his grandchildren.Related families are The Adam MEEKs of Cabarrus, NC, the William NEELYs of York, SC, the MAYSONs of Abbewville, SC, the SMITHs of VA/NC/SC centered primarily in old Pickens District SC, and the KESLERs originating from Newberry, SC.|
