Bruce Patten Wimmer (b. 28 Mar 1928, d. 29 Mar 1984)Bruce Patten Wimmer (son of Charles Edwin Wimmer and Erma Mae Snyder) was born 28 Mar 1928 in California, and died 29 Mar 1984 in Salt Lake City, UT.He married Geraldine Taylor.

Pat was our "Grumpy Bear", always appearing to be out of sorts, he was in reality a funny, fun and caring person. He loved the out-of-doors, animals (they loved him back) and nature in general.
He began his continuing eduction at the U of U in Engineering, but when the Korean conflict came about, he joined the Marines and was sent overseas, serving in the water purification section of the Engineering Btln.
Upon the death of his father, in 1951, he ws returned home to manage the Service Station, now owned by his mother. He married and was later divorced by Geraldine Taylor, of Moab. They had four daughters from this union.
In the late 1970's he contracted a blood condition known as Hemolatic Anemia. This caused his immune system to become weakened and made him very suseptable to viruses and disease. He contracted pnumonia in March of 1984 and died in the veterans Hospital, in SLC, the day after his 56 birthday.
Pat was a dedicated member of Orient Lodge #15, Green River, Ut,and a member and Past Patron of Bethany Chapter #9 (twice over) also located in Green River.
His cremains are buried at Crescent, in the desert he loved.
Pat was 6' tall, blue grey eyes, and dark hair (although he had lost most of it early on in life)(Bobbe Wimmer Kidrick)
