| This family has long been established in the Upshur County of West Virginia.We are the decendants of Gerome Morrison who migrated here from Ireland.Gerome was married to Elizabeth Nesbitt and they had a son,Fred Guy Morrison,born February 02,1884 in Beverly,W.VA.Fred lived in Buckhannon,W.VA. his whole life as a blacksmith and farmer.Fred was married three times,first to Effie Shreve,second to Annie Bennet,and lastly to Mattie Crites.Fred died in Buckhannon on February 19,1965.Fred and Annie(his second wife)are the parents of Earnest S.Morrison for who this site is dedicated to.
