| ||Notes for RICHARD PARLIER/PARLEE/PURLEE:|
By: Dennis Moore
There is no proof that Richard is a son of John Parlier.I place him here in this family for the same reason that I placed Nancy and Charles in the family of John.John's family appears to have been the only Parlier family in the area.There is nothing to indicate his age so this is just a quess until more can be found on him.If he is not the son of John, then it is possible that he could be the son of Isaac Parlier Sr.He is in Wilkes County as early as 1784, which puts him with Isaac Parlier Sr.There is only the one reference to this Richard Parlier in the records:
1784 Wilkes County Tax List
" Richard Perlier - 1 Pole - No Acreage "
This indicates one of two things; either he was over the age of 16 but still young and as of yet had aquired no land, or he was over 16 and living with someone else.
