May 05, 1846; Albert Robbins, b. 1848; Valentine Robbins, b. March 13, 1852; Sarah E. Robbins b. 1854; Leonard Robbins, b. 1858, Sylvester Robbins, b. 1859; Silar Robbins, b. 1863; Mary A. Robbins, b. 1866; and Charley Robbins, b. 1869.William's parents were probably Richard Robbins and Rebecca Chasteen, but I have been unable to verify this as of March, 1998. Martin Charles Robbins married Elizabeth Jane Kieth, daughter of Richard Kieth and Eliza Lewis. Martin Robbins and Elizabeth "Eliza Jane" Kieth had six children: Mary Robbins, b June 25, 1869, m. David M. Clark; Alice Robbins, b. April 23, 1871; d. February 02, 1914, m. Barney Chasteen; Thomas Alexander Robbins, b. May 24, 1873; John W. Robbins, b. May 07, 1876, in Indiana, d. January 06, 1961, in Arkansas; Willard Robbins, b. July 11, 1879, in Indiana, d. January 24, 1972 in Arkansas, m. Bertha Leoma Rhude; Joseph Robbins, b. June 15, 1883, d. March 11, 1970 in Arkansas, m. Hazel Edith Rhude; Mariah Jane Robbins, b. March 09, 1885, Scottsburg, IN, d. February 15, 1977, in Illinois, m. Meed Trowbridge. Martin C. Robbins was my great-grandfather.
