MarionCleo Barnes Simpson, 82 of Burgin street died Thursday, July 22
A native of Union Mills, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Alexander and Lula Mar Morehead Barnes.She was a member of Eastern Star of Marion for more than 40 years and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Wayne Simpson of Marion: two daughters, Elayne Wiseman, and Melba Swoffard, both of Marion; two sisters, Iren Koon and Pauline Byrd both of Union Mills; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Westmoreland Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Nanney officiating.Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
