Mrs. Dorman's Services Today
Orange, March 5---- Funeral rites for Mrs. Docia Richardson Dorman, 88, of the Dorman Road, a resident here 80 years, were to be held today at 2 p.m. in Claybar Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Burks, pastor of McDonald Memorial Baptist Church, offciating, assisted by the Rev. Francis Holt, pastor of MacArthur Heights Baptist church.
Burial will be in Jett cemetery, with grandsons as pallbearers, including C.A. Dorman, Jr., Bruce Patillo, A.J. Dorman, John Cecil Dorman, C.J. Huckaby and James Dorman.
Mrs. Dorman , a native of Limestone county, died at her home Sunday at 4:20 a.m. after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late James Dorman, who died in 1924, and was a lifetime member of the old First
Orange Baptist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R.L. Brown and Mrs. George Huckaby of Orange; six sons,
Madison, Henry,Jr. , Bohn L., Allen, Clarence and Hershel Dormans, all of Orange; two sisters,
Mars Lizzie Burton of Orange, and Mrs. Mary Hughes of Houston; 19 grandchilden, 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
