"Leon's only child, Joe...died of bone cancer 7 years ago.He was a Scientist in Wildlife Biology and was a professor at A&M.Joe's family lives in Bryan.His only granddaughter works on campus and has a good job."
I went to Victoria High School with Joe.I remember him as being very polite and friendly.He had the most beautiful blue eyes....that rivaled Paul Newmans.He ran around with Barbara Herbst, Janie Johnson, Mac McElroy, Larry Sanders, and Richard _______________ and all that group. The very "in-crowd", or BEST CLIQUE. :)
