Commentary: The exact land location cannot be determined from the estate papers; however this land is probably south of modern High Point, NC, near the intersection of State Highway 109 and 1-85 (exit 103) on the headwaters of the Little Uwharrie River. The main tributary appears to start just north of 1-85. This river has several tributaries in modem Davidson county and Randolph county to the east.. The county line roughly parallels the Little Uwharrie River. There is a pond or lake.
