Courtesy of Roger Deane, Eli Park Descendant. Note: Three of Eli's daughter's married two of my maternal 4th Great Grandparents, Jesse Cobb, Sr.'s and Edith Oldham's sons. Specifically, Jesse and Edith's son, Richard Cobb, Sr. married Minerva Park (Mary)--my maternal 3rd Great Grandparents. Richard's brother, Jesse Cobb, Jr., first married Eliza Park and upon her death, Tabitha Park. Because of these maternal-fraternal side marriages between my Cobb and Park families, Eli Park is both a 4th Great Uncle and 4th Great Grandfather to me! In essence, this makes Eli and his BROTHER, John Park (m. Mary Peeler) both 4th Great Grandfathers to me--maternal and fraternal sides! Fascinating relationships!!
