All of the names listed on this page have some kind of blood / marital relationship to Benjamin Pate (BP) At this time my research shows that BP was in Wake County, NC and moved to Columbus County, NC.It is approximated that he was born around 1777. He had two sons for sure Edwin Johnston Pate and Hardy Pate (Recent info from the PATE dna group assisted in confirming this.) There were most likely two other sons - William and Henry but no one has provided me evidence of that to date. Some research implies there may be other sons and at least one daughter Elisa.
