This database contains much information on the Pattons of Donegal, Ireland, Boston, Massachusetts and Buffalo, NY. The specific ancestors that generated interest in this family are William Patton who arrived here c.1846 in Boston. His father and mother, James and Mary Patton lived in Donegal, probably in the Finn River Valley near Stranorlar. This database also shows the maternal lines, including McKenzies, Snyders, Hogans etc. The Hogans were from Tipperary, Ireland. Research on these and other lines started in 1964 and continues today. I am willing to share information on all of my research.
