|We are researching the Mexican Branch of The Platt Family. We are looking for descendants of Richard Platt of Ware, England (1604-1685), who arrived in New Haven CT, USA in 1638 and settled in Milford, CT in 1639. Seven generations later, Frederick Platt (1831-1893) went from Huntington, Long Island, NY, USA to the state of Sonora, Mexico. My info is at left.|

Frederick 1 is #121-151-24 in Charles Platt, Jr.'s Platt Genealogy_, 1963, on p. 123 and in this book he would be Frederick 8. No birth date is given, but he is son of Richard 7, who was bapt. 10 July 1786, Huntington, NY; d. April 1845, New York, NY; mar. 1)_____? ,2) Harriet Elizabeth Kirk (mother of John and Frederick). The rest of the line is: Scudder 6, Zophar 5, Jesse 4, Jonas 3, Isaac 2, Richard1.
