Ambrose Coffee was at Boonsborough during an Indian Raid in which he was shot so much that his clothes were riddled with holes. He however, did not receive a scratch to his body. A Fact that he considered an omen of some kind. He felt that he was blessed.
I remember, this scene in a movie of old. I have seen it in olden movies many times.
