Anna Stuart Pyle stated that Clare was a lovely girl and died in childbirth .Annaand Thelmar with new born Dolores were at Victorias at the time. They offered to raise the baby named Clare Lenore but Cecil provided care of a paid nurse instead. He remarried within a year and eventually his new wife Name unknown gave birth to Conrad the same year I was born. I being Faith Pyle. It is said that Conrad became a set designer in Hollywood and I did see credit for him on several movies. I can locate some Conrad Pyle names in various places but none seem to be our first cousin. Clare who was only months younger than Dolores is said by Victoriato have gone to Paris before the Second World War and stayed there. Victoria never revealed the reason for this or who a 16 or 17 year old would go to Paris with.
