welsh extraction having lived many years in England. They had
lived a long time in Northern Ireland. He was actively engaged
in the irish civil war of his time, in 1690 was at the Battle
He was from a family of distinction but it is written he did
not like to talk about the past, probably partially due to his
years as a privateer.
