|Here lie the bones of my ancestors.Just kidding. It does represent the family tree we have constructed so far, either through the direct research of people like my mom Patricia (Brooks) Robinson, Booker DeVaughn, et al. or what I have gleaned from web sources. The major surnames are Allen, Bailey, Beach, Becker, Bintliff, Brooks, Dabney, Jeter, Johnson, Konkle, and Siebeneicher.|
There have been some great discoveries this year.We have found some previously lost information on Fred W. Brooks and his parents, especially on his mother's side, the Bintliff family. We also found a cousin on that side, Lorna Campbell, who has provided the initials of Fred W. Brooks' father which were also unknown and located him on a census. Also found is some information on the Konkle family, the natural maternal grandparents of Gertrude Tryon Vandenberge (Grandma Van).Another exciting find was a long connection of the (Jennie A.) Beach family to the 1600's England. This information is as yet unconfirmed but gives a great starting point to research.
On the paternal side, John Lane Robinson's ancestors, there is also news.I have come into contact with a cousin, Leroy Jeter, who is now living in Nebraska. He has helped fill in some Jeter information which will be forthcoming.
Both sides feature added photos. If you have photos that you would like included, information or questions please contact me.
