I have been researching the Rowray (Rowrey) for about six or seven years the last five on the computer.Thus far I have not found what our nationality is.My research has been primarily in the U.S.My research is basically from a Elear Rowrey in Philadelphia in 1820.I have pretty well followed him down to the present day.Many thanks go to the following for information and pictures.Jerry Rowray of Texas Pamela Westphal of Califonia Rebecca Hansen of Denmark.Louise Gilley of Louisiana and Marj Elliott of Colorado also Nancie Dobyn's of Iowa.My branch of Rowray's have a family reunion every year in Cedar Rapids.Usually in August or September.All are welcome.Every Thursday night my brothers and sisters meet at a different restaurant for a mini family reunion all are welcome.All inquiries are welcome.I am a retired carpenter and live in a house I designed and help build in 1976.At the present my wife and I live here with our three boys Oz 4 Doc 3 and Charlie almost 2 they are cocker spaniels.This is 2002 and as of April my wife Charlotte will semi-retire.That means she will be old enough for S.S. but will continue to operate her Drapery and Top Treatment business.Make sure you look at the pictures I have posted.I will be adding to them often. | |
