Tryphosa Lee (daughter of Joos Lee and Anne Hungerford) was born Abt. 1597 in England1768, and died Bef. Mar 20, 1644/45 in Of Duxbury, Plymouth, MA1768.She married Stephen Tracy on Jan 03, 1620/21 in Leiden, Holland1768, son of Stephen Tracy and Agnes Erdley.

Tryphosa Lee married Stephen Tracy on January 2, 1621 in Leiden, Holland.Their first known child was a daughter Sarah born about January 1622/3.Stephen left for Plymouth on the Anne or Little James in 1623.Presumably Tryphosa stayed behind because of Sarah.She applied for permission to travel from England to Leiden on May 1, 1624 with her daughter Sarah.Tryphosa and Sarah may have come on the Jacob which arrived in Plymouth in early 1625.In any case she had to be there by about mid 1626 because her daughter Rebecca was born before the division of cattle on May 22, 1627.
In the land division of 1623 Stephen Tracy received three acres of land meaning that there were three people in his family or party.Robert Wakefield worries who the other two people were if Tryphosa and Sarah were not in Plymouth.I see not problem since it was known that he had a wife and child who were coming to join him why would he not receive his due at the time of the division.
