Elijah Sellers Family:Information about Vivian Fleet Lamb
Vivian Fleet Lamb (b. July 10, 1910)

Vivian Gregory is an outstanding individual. She always has the greatest attitude and never seems to be down.In her 90's she continues to be an inspiration to a lot of people by her attitude about life. She seems to look forward to evey day.
Vivian has so much information about the Lamb family she is constantly being called by relatives to provide facts and other information about incidents and family lore.
When she was in her late 80's she climbed a ladder and put Christmas lights around the eves of her home. This was done to the horror and consternation of her sons, daughter and grandchildren.
The light episodewas not the only incident in which Vivian caused concern of close relatives and husband James. The story is that after she had turned 90 years inage, she and a friend were looking for honeysuckle vines along the Sipsey Valley road one spring afternoon. They climbed a hight bank on the side of the road toget the sweet smelling flower and Vivian became tangled in the vines and fell down the bank, rolling into a ditch. She was un hurt, but jumped up to see if anyone had seen her fall. She was more embarrassed about rolling down the bank than worrying about getting hurt.
Vivian and James Gregory have been married 64 years and lived in the same home until 2000 whenit burned. They lost everything, including old records, photographs and family memorabilia.
Friends and neighbors gathered one Saturday, and rebuild the home for them.Starting with the block foundation, the "blacked in" the house in one day.Within a few days, she and James had a new home with furnishing, etc.
