Since the last annual meeting the dark robed angel of death has hoveredround and carried away thespirit of our beloved sister Mrs.Martha McGraw.Sister McGraw was the wife of our esteemed friend, Mr. Hale McGraw and the daughter ofthe much loved Brother Elijah Sellers and the daughter of Nancy Drummond Sellers.Sister McGraw was born in this vicinity February 7, 1858.She married January 12, 1882 and died December 5, 1893.She leaves brothers and sisters, father and mother, a husband and five children besides a host of friends to mourn her departure.As a Christian, she was faithful, as a daughter she honored her parents, as a wife she was true and devoted, as a mother she was loving, kind and tender.Ye that mourn let gladness mingle with your tears. She was our own beloved sister, but now she is the Lord's.She made her household bright, but now stands on a higher plane.She one mingled her voice with ours in singing praises, now she sings with the that know no sorrow, therefore, let us look to him who doth all thing well reminds that our loss is her gain.
