The family of Joseph Dory was first found in Couburg,Canada, in 1825.From there they traveled down to the Wisconsin territory and on to Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, and Nebraska.
We have not been able to trace the Reed family back any further than 1866 where James Reed (born 1846 in Ohio) was residing in Henepin, Putnam Co, IL.
These two families married into numerous other families which we have considerable information about.These include Derrick, Ditson, Campbell, Jacobsen, Coon, and Meinert.
I am still researching all of these families and would appreciate any information you might have.In addition I am willing to share my information.
