We are looking for links intoour heritage. If you have a link or note any errors, please contact us. The family tree contains 2 trees. The one entitled "grandson" covers four grandparents: Manuel Silva, Margaret Bettencourt, Raymond Bettle, and Lucille Hageman. The other entitled ""daughter-Scotland" covers Albert Wigmore and Mary Hyland. The tree is limited to a maximum of 15 generations. Since the tree is in the form of a book, it has an index to help you find a particular person. The 5 reports supplement the tree by providing additional generations as well as more ancestors (aunts and uncles). The report on Manuel Silva deals mainly with people from the Island of Graciosa in the Azores, while the report for Margaret Bettencourt deals mainly with the Island of Terceira in the Azores. Both trees trace backto the Bettencourt root in France.Margaret Bettencourt's line also traces to the Drummond line in Scotland. The Drummond line includes an implied linkback to John Drummond and Annabella Drummond of Scotland. This line links to many of the Royal families of Europe. The work on these treeshas benefited from numerous references including WFT.Sources for these trees are too numerous to include in this limited space.
