To Intoduce myself. I am James Leonard Stanley, I was born in St Helens Lancashire England.My parents were of Welsh Extraction, Ruthin & Wrexham Denbighshire North Wales, My research has taken me to Cheshire, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Merionithshire, and my own County Lancashire, I owe a Great lot to the staffs of Harwarden, Ruthin, Bleanau Festiniog, Chester,records Offices, St Helens Library, Also too the many relations for their freely given information some of them as far afield as Australia, & the United States. This tree was started in 1992 by myself, I was soon joined by my nephew George Baynes, Who Has excelled himself with the Baynes Family Tree, A link of which you will find on the Home Page. He allowed me access to all his Information that he had been researching for many more years than I had, Then Many more names were added by the efforts of Sue Turner of Camberley. who was also researching stanley's running along side of me down another branch of the same Family, Then along came Denise Kendrick McNeel Born in Cheshire now living in the United States she is doing the Kendricks who also had stanley,s from the same source John Stanley and Martha Pritchard. another is Sylvia Kendricks nee Roberts Who is married to Graham Kendricks, followed by Leigh Allen Nee Melling Born Wrexham now living in Mold. she was researching the Mellings but she also had a stanley connection now she has been followed by Roy William Stanley from the Wirral Cheshire He is decsended from Thomas Stanley another son of John & Martha.there is too My Daughter Jean Unsworth of Earlestown. She is tireless in her search for her Husband Davids Family of Unsworth her contributions are here too. And we are now joined by Vivien from Macclesfield in Cheshire, Her connection has come from Stephen Stanley b,1835. If I have not mentioned anyone you can take heart that I no longer consider this as my tree It is dedicatedto all those People who have contributed to it. I have changed the original Heading from Stanley's of Lancashire, Cheshire, Denbighshire, & Flintshire as it no long fully applies. I only make a Promise to keep it in good order for you all. I would not by my own Endevour ever have created a Website, It took my son James to decide to do it, He was fed up with my keep saying, one day I will put it on the net. Thanks James.
