Harmon Stults married the daughter of Isaac Kitt who was the first of
nine children born and raised on the Kitt farm north of Huntington.
Mrs. Stults was the second white child born in the Clear Creek Township
and as a small girl, played with Indian children. After her marriage she
and her husband lived on a farm four miles from her fathers farm. She
always lived here throughout her life, except for a short period when
her husband was drafted for service in the Civil War.
