Hello. I am currently searching for relatives from my Hart line. My grandfather, Morris Philip Hart was born in 1851 in Evansville, In. He, his sister Mary Francis, born 1843, and brothers, William Henry, born 1842 and John Wilson, born 1856, were the children of James Henry Hart and Hannah Jeanette Wilson. James Henry, born in NY, was the son of Philip, who was the son of Jeremiah, a Revolutionary War scout. My father, William Leroy Hart was born in Chicago in 1892. His siblings were Francis, Walter, Lillian, and Florence. My uncle, Walter Wilson Hart, had some contact with Indiana relatives, namely Newton Hart, but the papers have been lost...William and Walter were both mathematicans. My mother's family is from Sweden. My grandfather, Axel Martin Johansson was born in 1877 in Helsingborg, Sweden. My grandmother, Johanna( Hannah)Persdotter and her sisters Emma, Elise, and Hilda emmigrated to the U.S. in late 1800s. They lived in Chicago. Her sisters Augusta and Neta remained in Sweden near the town of Ranneslov, Halland. Hannah was born on August 30, 1874 in Ranneslov. My great-grandfather George Hoffmann was born in Nendershausen, Kurhessen, Germany in 1833. My great-grandmother Anna Maria Schroeder (Hoffmann) was born in Richelsdorf, Hessen, Hermany in 1827. She married George Hoffmann before they came to the U.S. in 1857. After George died, she married George Hiller and lived in Valparaiso,Indiana. She helped raise Hillers six children. Their daughter, Anna Martha Hoffmann, married Morris Philip Hart when she was 18. They moved to Chicago.
