| My main research interest is the family of John Stevens (1800-1858), a builder and carpenter who lived in Radipole, Dorset, England. Three of his sons emigrated to the United States: Richard Alexander Stevens, Walter Job Stevens and Levi Charles Stevens.He married, in 1833, Ann Thomasin Luckham, a family originating in Glanville's Wootton, Dorset.I am also interested in the Glyde family, who also lived in Dorset, England, and who have been traced back to the 18th century.I am happy to exchange information with others on these names. | |
