Gottlieb Stotzer was born in Büren an der Aare, canton Bern, Switzerland in 1878.He married Frieda Reust in 1908 in Cleveland, Ohio and had four sons: Arthur, Ernest, Frederick, and Harold (my father).Ernest died as an infant in 1909. The others lived normal lives. Sadly, Gottlieb died in Cleveland in August, 1912 due to "strangulation, suicide."
