Edward Lloyd Pearce was a Coal miner at Clymer and Sample Run mines
He also had a farm on Canoe Ridge near Rossiter,Pa.
He had a coal mines opened on it before the farm was strip mined and the water went bad.Then he moved to Route 36 between Cloe,Pa and McGee Mills,Pa---RD#2 Punxsutawney. Then was a truck driver hauling coal at Benezet,Pa and various other strip mines in Jefferson County
Edward died of a heart attack at age 66 on May 7 1969

Walter "Peck" Howard Huey, 75, Glen Campbell RD1, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1993 at Punxsutawney Hospital.
The son of Oren G and Berta M Williard Huey, he was born Dec. 24, 1917, in Banks Township.
Mr Huey was a member of the Teamsters Union, Pittsburgh. Prior to his retirement he had been employed from 1966 to 1985 with Interstate Corp, Punxsutawney.
Surviving are his wife Frances Smith Huey whom he married on Dec. 28, 1940; 13 children: Howard S, Glen Campbell; Richard, Donald, Terry and Kenneth, all of Glen Campbell RD1; Mrs Dennis (Mona) Farmery and Wendell, both of Rossiter RD1; Mrs Sonya Barnett and Mrs James (Shirley) Shaffer, both of Punxsutawney RD1; Mrs Gary (Jean) Glover, Calera, Okla; Mrs Samuel (Carol) Powell, Commodore RD1; Thomas, Gipsy; and Dan East Greenville; 41 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and three brothers; Charles, Aultman; Ernest, Glen Campbell RD1 and Lloyd, Baden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: David, Richard, and Harry Huey; one sister Lois Cassady Pierce and two infant sisters.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2=4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Albert E Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Albert C Cooper officiating.Interment will follow in Burnside Cemetery.

Frances Huey
Frances V (Smith) Huey, 76, of Glen Campbell, died Friday, July 27, 2001, in Banks Township, Indiana County.
The daughter of Henry Alvin and Sarah Belle (Young) Smith, she was born Jan. 4, 1925 in Glen Campbell.
Mrs Huey attended the First Baptist Church in Glen Campbell.
She married her husband the late Walter "Peck" H Huey on Dec. 28, 1940.
Mrs Huey is suvived by thirteen children: Howard G Huey and wife Mary, Glen Campbell; Richard A Huey and wife Sue, Glen Campbell ; Donald H Huey and wife Donna, RD1 Glen Campbell; Mona V Farmery and husband Dennis of Rossiter; Sonya L Barnett and Bill Shema, Punxsutawney RD7; Shirley J Shaffer and husband Jim, Punxsutawney RD2; Doris J Glover and husband Gary of Calera, Oka; Carol F Powell and husband Sam of Commodore RD1; Thomas W Huey and wife Brenda of Gipsy; Terry D Huey of Dixonville; Wendell R Huey and wife Wanda of Rossiter RD1; Dan E Huey of Hereford and Ken D Hue and wife Button of Glen Campbell; 45 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a sister Mary White and husband Mervin of Boardman Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs Huey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Oct. 29, 1993 and siblings Martha Wise; Doris Wilson; Max Smith; Clyde Smith and Harold Smith.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. today and from 4-9 p.m. Monday at the Rairigh Funeral Home Ltd in Hillsdale where a funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday.Rev Albert Cooper will officiate. Interment will be in the Burnside Cemetery.

He was born Oct 10, 1963, in Glen Campbell, the son of Walter "Peck" Howard and Frances Vae (Smith) Huey. He was a member of Canoe Ridge Church of God and employed at Force Inc in Indiana. He had previously been a self employed logger. Mr Huey loved his three daughters very much and enjoyed spending quality time with them which often included their extensive 4-H involvement. He will be remembered as a good person who was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He is survived by his wife Wanda Darlene (Pearce) Huey; three daughters: Heidi, Jessica and Amanda, all of Rossiter; seven brothers: Howard G Huey, Punxsutawney; Richard Huey, Donald Huey, and Dan Huey, all of Glen Campbell; Thomas Huey of Gips; Terry Huey of Dixonville; and Ken Huey, Rossiter; and five sisters: Mona Farmery and husband Dennis, Rossiter; Sonjia Barnett, Punxsutawney; Shirley Shaffer and husband James, Punxsutawney; Jean Glover and husband Gary, Otoka, Okla; and Carol Powell and husband Samuel, Commodore; and numberous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. O. Richard Huey, 58, Emporium, died Monday Sept 10, 1979 at his home.
The son of Oren Glenn and Bertha M Williard Huey, he was born Feb 13, 1921 in Glen Campbell.
Mr Hue was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Emporium. VFW; American Legion.
A veteran of World War II, he had served in the US Navy. He served as elder, deacon and trustee of the First Presbyterian Church, Emporium.
Owner and operator of Huey Bottle Gas, he had lived in Emporium for the last 27 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Altman Huey, whom he married Nov. 26, 1946; two sons Orin Richard II, Pittsburgh; Thomas Allen, Mesa Ariz; five brothers: Charles, Altman; Ernerst and Howard, both of Glen Campbell; Lloyd, Pittsburgh; Harry, Punxsutawney.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept 14 with the Rev George R Krupp Jr and the Rev Charles Silkie officiating.Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Rossiter.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Emporium in Mr Huey's memory.
