Ramonita Villalongo: Rio Grande, Loiza, Canovanas, and Carolina Puerto Rico. Information on any Villalongo will be appreciated. The purpose of my Homepage is simple and it is to search for the relationship of my ancestry with the surname VILLALONGO. My inquisitive nature leads me to ask myself many questions, such as who am I?,were did my ancestors orignated from?, what were my ancestors like?, Who were they? and what contributions they made if any to the world? As well as what type of profession or labor they did? In so far it appears that there is a strong relationship between my Taino and Africa ancestry. However, more concrete evidence is needed. Doing my genealogy has helped me find lost cousins and meting new ones. It has been an extrodinary travel that will continue for a life time. Not only did I learn about my relatives but a little about history. I wish more people would take it up as a hobby. My ancestors in so far originated from Loiza, Canovanas, Rio Grande, and Carolina Puerto Rico (This is at least a point of reference.) By at least having a point of reference it will facilitate somewhat my search. Our Puerto Rican heritage includes ethnic groups such as Tainos, African, and European ancestry.
