Embrazia and John are buried in the Albion Cemetery.She was living at the home of her daughter, Jessie Nichols when she died.
Obit from the 20 Feb 1930 issue of the Marshalltown Times-Republican (the microfilm is very bad and difficult to read) - at best, it reads:
“The funeral of Mrs. John H Leonard was held at 2 O’clock Wednesday from the Minerva church, with Rev. Mr. Bishop in charge of the services.Burial was in the Albion cemetery.The pallbearers were Will Presnall, Bert Binford, Ralph Hill, Raleigh Augustine, Hiram Augustine and Will Furch.The flower bearers were Misses Jessie Reidel and Gay Reidel, and Mesdames Hiram and Raleigh Augustine,Will Presnall and Will Furch.Those who attended the funeral from a distance were F. E. Houghton and son, Ernest, Enid Okla; Will Houghton and Miss Jane Houghton, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. Eugene Ulery, Oak Park, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Leonard, Delhi, Minn;M.r. and Mrs. J. McNee and Joe Leonard, Laurens, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Spurrier, and Mrs. William Riley, Marengo, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Ruhneals, Nevada, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Leonard, of this city.”
