Kalem and Mary Price were born of ancestors who lived in Wales. We don't know how many generations were in the Colonies before Kalem and Mary, if any. These two ancestors were born about 1700, give or take a few years, judging from the last will and testament of Kalem, dated April 21, 1758. That last will & testament disclosed their children's names as follows:

After Kalem's death, and before the execution of his will, his widow married Alexander Burk. As you may detect in reading about the execution of this will, that marriage caused a bit of a stir in these Colonial days. But, where was a lady with a new born and other children to turn in those days. She needed a husband.
